Voorkomen
Exoot/dwaalgast Herkomstgebied Noord-Amerika. Er zijn slechts enkele broedgevallen bekend (vermoedelijk losgelaten of ontsnapte vogels), waarvan het eerste in 1999 plaatsvond. Waarnemingen zijn betrekkelijk zeldzaam met ongeveer 1 á 2 gevallen per jaar. Zie voor aanvaarde waarnemingen voor 2015 www.dutchavifauna.nl. Sindsdien wordt de soort niet meer beoordeeld door de CDNA.
